It
was the kind of afternoon that stirred madness from the bottom like a spoon. The knife went in with blood like words forced out of opened mouths. Passengers thought of escape waiting for God or something quick. They did not move (the driver's face looked unfamiliar). When everything was safe the passengers discussed their plans which were too late (he had a knife). They would come home with an interesting story to tell.

Authors Background
Mr. Antonio R. Samson serves as the President and
Chief Executive Officer of Optimum Media Philippines. From 1982 to 2003, Mr.
Samson worked with PLDT, his last position since 1999 till his early retirement
as an Executive Vice President of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone
Company, and concurrently President and Chief Executive Officer of MediaQuest
Holdings, Inc. Mr. Samson served as the Chairman of OMD Philippines. Mr. Samson
has been an Independent Director of
Vantage Equities, Inc. (formerly Ivantage Corp.) since 2005 and Philequity
Management, Inc. He is also a thrice-weekly columnist of Business World (since
1984 in then Business Day) and is the President of the Manila Chamber Orchestra
Foundation and the Metropolitan Museum, and Chairman of the Advertising
Foundation. Mr. Samson holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Ateneo
de Manila University, a Masters degree in Business Administration from the
Asian Institute of Management and a Masters degree in Business Economics from
the University of the Asia and the Pacific.
